10th Veteran of the Quarter

I would like to nominate my husband, James L. Pitchford, for the Branson Bank Veteran of the Quarter. Jim was drafted into the Army in 1953 and is retired after serving 20 years. He is very proud of his years of service to his country.

He served in Germany for 5 years, Korea for 1 1/2 years, Vietnam for 3 years, Alaska for 2 years, and served at numerous other posts around the USA. He was a motor pool SSG.

He has the Bronze Star, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Army Commendation. He is a very proud Veteran who loves his country and his fellow Veterans, is a member of the VFW, TREA, Am Vets, and Vietnam Vets.

I think he should be Veteran of the Quarter. I am proud to be his wife. He is a great Vet!
