Dan Boone
Director
Serving as a Director on Branson Bank’s Board of Directors, Dan Boone is invested in his community. He was first introduced to Branson Bank in 2001 through a relationship with a competing bank and then in 2005, he moved his relationship over and became a Director for Branson Bank.
Boone has served the community for over 15 years as a real estate agent and the bulk of his activity is working with developers to build new projects in the Tri-Lakes area. He has been instrumental in providing advice to bank management when real estate values affect our community, like in 2009 when the recession devastated property values.
Prior to transitioning into real estate, Boone spent 20 years as an electrical engineer designing medical, and related products, with 10 of those years in management, following early years as a design engineer and a sales engineer for a large semiconductor distribution firm. This experience is what placed him in a position to lead a small design and manufacturing business in the Branson area.
Boone holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri. He is a member of: IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu Honor Fraternity, Sigma Nu, and Who’s Who in Engineering. He serves the community in a variety of ways, including: Branson Hollister Rotary since 2005, Branson School Board Director since 2012, YMCA Board Director 2005 – 2010, Taney County Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment Director 2015-2019 and the Taney County Sewer Commissioner 2017-2021.
