E-6 Staff Sergeant Clinton V. Caperton was born on July 28th, 1983 in Branson, Missouri. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on January 2nd, 2002 in Springfield, Missouri.
Clinton’s unit was based in Harrison, Arkansas, and he completed 2 tours in Iraq as a Combat Engineer. His duties consisted of clearing road side bombs (IED’s) and other threats.
Clinton commented on how joining the Army was a wise choice and a good experience. Being a soldier has played a huge part in making him who he is today and the brothers that he served with will be a part of his life for the rest of his years. Clinton served 8 years before he was discharged on January 10th, 2010. He is married to his wife, Alicia of 5 years.
His medals include: The Bronze Star, 2 Army Achievement Medals, Army Good Conduct Medal, ARCAM National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terroism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal w/ Campaign Star, Combat Action Badge, and others.
He now works for a public water district and also at Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre.
