Acquisition Finalized: Branson Bank Purchases Hawthorn Bank’s Branson Location – February 08, 2019

Branson Bank is pleased to announce the opening of the new Gretna location on February 11, 2019. Acquired from Hawthorn Bank, this new location will provide the same excellent service that Branson Bank is known for throughout Taney and Stone Counties.

Branson Bank and Hawthorn Bank finalized the purchase of Hawthorn Bank’s Branson location on February 8, 2019. The purchase was approved by the board of directors from each bank and received regulatory approval.

The new Branson Bank Gretna location will offer full-service banking, and in the weeks to come, a new lending experience with mortgage lenders, as well as their respective operations and processing teams, will begin to form.

“This acquisition addresses several of our strategic objectives, namely better accommodation of continuing growth,” said Bill W. Jones, President of Branson Bank. “This purchase will allow our organization to centralize bank functions and it will create more efficient workflows, resulting in even better customer service and support. We would like to extend a warm welcome to the Hawthorn Bank’s Branson location customers and associates,” said Jones.

Lobby hours are 9 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 9 AM to 5 PM Fridays. Drive-thru hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5:30 PM on Fridays, and 8 AM to Noon on Saturdays.

On Friday, March 22, the 19th Anniversary of Branson Bank, the public is invited to attend a ribbon cutting of the new Branson Bank Gretna location at 10 AM, hosted by the Branson Chamber of Commerce. Tours of the facility will be offered during this event. The Branson Bank Gretna location is at: 4675 Gretna Rd, Branson.
