Secure Holiday Shopping
October 27, 2021
This holiday season, follow these easy tips online to stay secure:
- Do not trust emails urgently requesting confidential personal financial information, such as PINs, passwords or account numbers.
- Did someone call you to “help with your computer”? Don’t let them take control of it. Hang up the phone.
- Be cautious about clicking on links in email, especially if you do not know the sender.
- Did you receive a message you’ve been billed for something you don’t want? It might be a scam! Don’t respond until you confirm with your credit card company.
