Associates Wear Red for Veteran’s Week – November 13, 2019
November 13, 2019
On Friday, November 8th, associates at Branson Bank wore red in honor of R.E.D. Friday. The acronym stands for “Remember Everyone Deployed,” and it encourages civilians to wear an article of red clothing in honor of those that are actively deployed.
While the practice takes place every Friday around the country, associate Tami McKinley recommended that bank associates celebrate it specifically during Veterans’ Week. “We are so thankful for all of those that have served, and R.E.D. Friday is a great way to recognize those who are serving at this moment,” Tami said. “It’s important to remember that right now we are enjoying the freedom that our past and present servicemen and servicewomen are providing.”
Branson Bank is a proud supporter of veterans, and many bank associates have family members or loved ones who have served, or currently serve, in the U.S. Military. Along with supporting events such as R.E.D. Friday, the bank also facilitates a Veteran of the Quarter program and offers a Veteran Portfolio, exclusive to United States Veterans and Active Duty Personnel.
