29th Veteran of the Quarter, Chaplain Paul Vicalvi, US Army

Chaplain (Colonel) Paul Vicalvi grew up in Albany, New York. After graduating from seminary, he pastored a church in Crawford, New Jersey for three years before entering active duty with the United States Army.
Vicalvi served as an active duty Army Chaplain from 1977-2006, retiring as a Colonel. Over thirteen of his active duty years were spent with paratroopers, including the 82nd Airborne Division and Army Special Operations Command. He has over 100 military jumps and is a Master Parachutist. His last position on active duty was as Commandant, US Army Chaplain Center and Scholl at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
Vicalvi is a graduate of Houghton College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Princeton Theological Studies. He is also a graduate of the National Defense University and holds a Masters of Strategic Studies from this senior leadership school.
Vicalvi is a past Board Member of the Branson Veterans Task Force and a Charter Member of the Branson Disabled American Veterans. He teaches Patriotic Education at School of the Ozarks. He and his wife, Pamela, reside in Kimberling City, and they have five children and twelve grandchildren.
